Before I get into this post, please take a look at my previous post to see my three favorite activities to do in Lake Tahoe. Some people dread flying on a plane and others enjoy it! Whatever you prefer there is always a way to improve your flight experince. Here are some travel hacks that will help make your plane ride less terrible!
- Have a dedicated set of traveling clothes! Planes are cold! Let me repeat, planes are cold! You want to have a specific set of flying clothes that will make your flying experince just a tad bit better. You want to wear your favorite pair of clothes that you enjoy being in. You want clothes that are comfy but presentable.
- Pack your stuff you will need within reach: This applies for carry-on and checked-in luggage. This is a common mistake with travelers that can bring your stress level down. Packing is an art. Pack the stuff you will need on the top to avoid a mess and digging through your bag in front of people in the line
- Pack an empty water bottle: Airport mark-ups are a pain. Paying for a small water bottle can cost you up to $4 for a small water bottle. Bring an empty water bottle and you can fill it up at a water fountain.
- Bring a portable phone charger: However, it is becoming more common for plans to have a plug, a large majority of planes still do not have any connectivity to charge your device. Bring a portable charger so you can extend your device life to watch more shows, stream the internet, or play more candy crush!
- Bring a multi-plug adapter: This is something people don’t think abot. Bring a multi-plug adapter so you and any fellow members you are traveling with are not sharing the same charger (Someone always forgets a charger)
I hope these small little hacks will make your travel experince just a little bit better. These are some of the common tips I was given and I have always used when I go travel.
