Food is something so special to me. Food is filled with so many flavors and have so many different tatses. Snacks from around the arould come in all different shapes, sizes, and tastes. Let’s get into my favorite snacks/food from around the world.
My first favorite snack is one of my favorites. This gem is called Churros con chocolate and it is from Spain! I first had this when I went to study abroad in spain in High School. I tried it the first night I was in Spain and I fell in love. It is something so leight but yet so tasty. I usually had this with a coffee in the morning or after dinner for dessert. The chocolate they use is not so sweet and thats what makes this pair so great.

Have you ever seen a fruit so colorful and cool? I have not since I came across this sweet thing. You are probably wondering how a white fruit would taste? It tastes like a more rich kewi. It has a similar texture to kewi but I prefer the taste of dragonfruit better. You eat it with a spoon and you dig in. I first had Dragonfruit when I went to Thailand. Fruit there is so cheap and it is a great grab-n-go item in the morning for breakfast. It also makes a great snack!

Yes! This is the great Gelato from Italy. If you are ever in Rome you MUST visit Il Gelato Di San Crispino. This place is famous because they make dang good gelato. It was featured in the book Eat.Prey.Love by Elibeth Gilbert. This place specializes in fine gelato that was unique, flavorful, and sensible. It is even better when you are walking on the cobble stone streets admiring the ancient art work. I have a special place in my heart for frozen treats.

This was one of my favorite parts about traveling to Thailand. Street markets are everywhere and they are so fun! Take some time to enjoy yourself when you are on the streets of Thailand. In the picture above it shows, dragonfruit, papaya, mango, apples, pears, and dried fruits. However, these are not the same kind of fruits you get in the United States. They are similar but have their own tastes. In my opinion, these fruits are sweeter!
These are just a handful of some of my favorite international snacks that I have had and enjoyed. Food is something so special that you can taste. Every place in the world has its own special snacks that people like to enjoy. Here are my options for different foods from around the world. Next time you travel take a picture of your favorite internal snack and tag me!
